By now I’m sure your familiar with Hickoree’s Hard Goods, online purveyor of such fine goods as the Big Foot Doorstop. If not, take a look.
—Seth, Landry & myself are working on a new website for artist Anna Kunz, who’s work I like very much.
Take a Look.
Niemann was fascinated by the “eerie silence” in many of the interviews and video clips coming out of Japan following the earthquake. “Considering the force and destruction and scale of this, I thought it was a scarily quiet disaster,” he said.

Seriously beautiful New Yorker cover this week by Christoph Niemann. His Abstract Sunday Blog is also worth a look.
Hooray! So excited for The Manual!
I forgot to share this, but I was asked by Joe Van Wetering to do a wallpaper for the design blog The Fox is Black (formerly Kitsune Noir).
The assignment was to create a piece inspired by a Wilco album, I was assigned Summerteeth.
There are a few comments remarking on how my drawing doesn’t reflect the album. I agree (I’ve never listened to it). Perhaps instead of thinking about the assignment so literally, you could imagine that the person in my drawing is listening to the album himself.
Then again, maybe I should have just said no.
